Patuakhali’s Kalapara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ali Ahmed has been protested by the locals.
On Monday (June 10) around 10 am, the procession left the police station and circled the main road of the city. Later, a protest rally was held in front of the Press Club.
Female Vice Chairman Shahina Parveen Seema, Awami League Leader Abdullah Al Islam Liton and Nilganj UP Chairman Babul Mia spoke there.
Earlier, men and women of the area stayed in front of the police station from 12:00 pm on Sunday to 10:00 am on Monday.
Kalapara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ali Ahmed said that after the arrest of the accused, the agitated people tried to surround the police station under the leadership of Shahina Parveen Seema. The police confronted and sent the accused to court.
