Police have arrested an accused in a rape case in Matlab North of Chandpur. Accused Faisal (34) was arrested from Rayerkandi area of ​​upazila on Monday (June 3). Fazlul Karim Sarkar is the son of Rayerkandi village of Baganbari union of Faisal upazila.

According to the police, Faisal Sarkar was a part-time teacher of Haji Chiddikur Rahman High School in the upazila. On that occasion, an SSC exam candidate used to come to him for private study. On March 8, Faisal raped her by consuming intoxicants along with water when she went to study in a private school. Faisal was expelled from the school when the poison came to light.

After that, Faisal delayed by saying that the matter should be settled locally. On Monday, when I told him about the settlement, he threatened the opposite. Later, the victim’s mother filed a case against Faisal at the Matlab North police station. Then the police arrested him. Later, Faisal was handed over to the court.
