Three members including the head of the ‘PK’ gang were arrested in Feni
RAB arrested three people including the head of a teenage gang named ‘PK’ while preparing for robbery in Feni. They were sent to jail by the court on Monday (June 3) afternoon.
The arrested are – Md. of Ahmedpur village of Sonagazi, Fenir. Sohel (20), Md. of Dakshin Kashimpur village of Feni Sadar upazila. Yachin (20) and Noakhali Subarnachar East Charbhata area. Belal Uddin (19).
According to RAB, the operation was conducted on Sunday night on the basis of secret information. At that time, the youth gang members tried to escape after sensing the presence of RAB. RAB members chased them and arrested three people. During the search of their bodies, two sharp knives were recovered.
During preliminary interrogation, the arrested said that they are active members of a local youth gang named ‘PK’ in Feni district. They displayed indigenous weapons and looted in various lanes and streets of the city including Feni Railway Station and Circuit House Road. They terrorized passers-by and locals and looted valuables, jewellery, mobile phones and cash. Besides, they are also involved in drug consumption and selling.
Feni RAB Camp Captain Squadron Leader Mohammad Sadekul Islam said that the arrested and rescued Alamat Feni Model Police Station have been handed over.
Feni Model Police Station SI Emran Hossain said that RAB has filed a case against the arrested. They have been sent to jail through the court.
