Top two military officers of Sierra Leone and Zambia in Dhaka


Sierra Leone Armed Forces Chief of Defense Staff Lieutenant General Peter Kakowu Lavahun and Zambia Military Training Establishment Commandant Brigadier General Haydon Mwilu have arrived in Bangladesh. They arrived in Bangladesh on Tuesday (June 4) on an official visit.

This information was informed in a circular sent by the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to ISPR, during the visit, the Chief of Defense Staff of the Sierra Leone Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Peter Kakowu Lavahun, paid a courtesy call on the Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Mizanur Rahman Shamim at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment on Tuesday.

They arrived in Bangladesh to observe the presidential parade organized on the occasion of receiving the commission of officer cadets of the 86th BMA long-term course to be held at the Bangladesh Military Academy on June 6.

Bangladesh’s friendly relations with Sierra Leone and Zambia will be further strengthened through their visit.
