Uncomfortable heat may remain for another 4 days


Uncomfortable heat is felt almost all over the country due to excess water vapor. This vapsa heat will continue till the rains across the country.

Meteorologist Bazlur Rashid told Jago News that it may rain all over the country from 15th or 16th of this month. Until then, there may be light rain in various places including the capital. If the amount of rain increases, the Vapsa heat will decrease.

The weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am on Tuesday said that day and night temperatures across the country are likely to remain almost unchanged. Excess moisture may cause discomfort.

Many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, some places of Dhaka and Chittagong divisions and two or two places of Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily. Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall at some places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

Besides, mild to moderate heat wave is flowing over Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Pabna and Patuakhali districts along with Khulna division and it may continue.

Meanwhile, the highest temperature in the country yesterday was 39.5 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga. Except for Barisal and Rangpur divisions, it has rained more or less all over the country.
