Three people including the driver were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a private car in Khulna. The accident took place at Babu Khan Mor area on the Khulna-Satkhira road around noon on Sunday (June 9).
The deceased are Ashutosh Das (65) son of Shishubar Das of Saruliya village in Patkelghata area of the district, Mohanlal Ghosh (64) son of Chittaranjan Ghosh of Patuakhali area and his wife died. His identity was not found.
Munsi Parvez Hasan, Deputy Inspector of Kharnia Highway Police Station, said that when a bus (Khulna Metro-B-11-0218) from Satkhira reached the spot at noon, it collided head-on with a private car (Dhaka-Metro-G-21-7221) coming from the opposite direction. is Three people including the private driver died on the spot. The body was sent to the hospital.
