Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) with fake money from the gate area of the hospital. Ansar members arrested a youth named Shakeel Mia (22). He was arrested on Sunday (June 9) around 8:30 pm.
Ansar Platoon Commander (PC) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Mizanur Rahman said that at 8:30 p.m., he received information from the Bagan Gate area of DMK. A youth named Shakeel was arrested with two notes of 1000 thousand rupees and handed over to the police camp.
He said, Md. Fariz asked the relative of a patient with a note of 1000 rupees. Then Fariz realized that the note was a fake note. Shortly before that, the accused youth Shakil asked another person named Noor Hossain to exchange a 1000 rupees note in the same manner, and he exchanged it. After a while he realized it was a fake note. Later, when the accused Shakeel was interrogated, he confessed about the fake notes.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp Assistant Sub-Inspector ASI Md. Masud said, an accused youth was brought to our camp by Ansar who was in charge of DMK security along with two fake notes of 1000 rupees. Later the matter was informed to the police of Shahbagh police station.
